WordPress
A good fit when
- Content changes often and several people edit it
- You need flexible page building within a design system
- You want WooCommerce alongside the content
Built as a custom theme, no page-builder bloat.
From focused marketing sites to complex CMS and commerce builds, designed around what the website needs to achieve, and engineered to be fast, accessible and easy for your team to run.
01What we build
The format changes with the brief. The standard doesn’t: clear structure, careful design and code that stays fast and maintainable.
Company and product sites that explain what you do, build trust and turn visitors into enquiries.
Bespoke builds for brands that need a distinctive experience, advanced interactions or unusual content.
Content-heavy websites with structured content models and an editing experience your team will actually use.
Online stores with considered product pages, smooth checkouts and the integrations that keep orders moving.
A modern frontend on top of a CMS or commerce backend, for speed, flexibility and multi-channel content.
Focused pages for launches and campaigns, built quickly on a reusable system and wired into your analytics.
02Approach
Six stages, from the first question about what the site is for to the improvements that follow launch.
Our wider processGoals, audiences, content and how success will be measured, agreed before a single page is designed.
Sitemap, content model and wireframes that give every page a purpose and a place.
Visual design, a component library and responsive layouts for every breakpoint.
Development, CMS configuration, integrations and testing across browsers and devices.
Content migration, redirects, analytics and a planned go-live with nothing left to chance.
Maintenance, monitoring and continuous improvements once real visitors start using the site.
03What’s included
The foundations every website we deliver starts with, whatever the platform or budget.
Designed and tested for phones, tablets and large screens, not just scaled down.
Semantic markup, keyboard support, readable contrast and accessible forms, guided by WCAG.
Optimised images, lean code and caching, with Core Web Vitals checked before launch.
Clean URLs, metadata, structured data, sitemaps and redirects so search engines can do their job.
Analytics and conversion events set up around the goals agreed in the first stage.
A walkthrough and written guide so your team can update content with confidence.
Managed hosting with backups and monitoring, or deployment to your own infrastructure.
HTTPS, sensible permissions, spam protection and an update plan from day one.
04Platforms
We work across several platforms, so the recommendation follows the website, its content, its team and its future, rather than our preferences.

Those four cover most projects. We build on the rest as well, and we move sites between them.
Squarespace, Wix, Framer, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Craft and Ghost, plus WooCommerce for stores running on WordPress.
Sanity, Strapi or Contentful feeding a custom frontend, for content that serves more than one channel.
Moving content, media, URLs and redirects onto a new platform while search visibility holds.
Custom plugins, WooCommerce extensions and Shopify apps when a site needs behaviour the platform does not offer.
06FAQ
The questions we hear most often at the start of a website project.
It depends on what the site needs to do and who will run it. We compare the options in the first stage, content, integrations, editing needs and budget, and recommend one with the reasons written down.
Yes. Every CMS build includes a structured editing experience, training and a written guide. You can manage pages, posts and products without touching code, and without breaking the design.
We plan migration as part of the project: mapping old content to the new structure, moving what’s worth keeping and setting up redirects so existing links and search rankings carry over.
We structure content and write interface copy as part of the design. For full page copy, we can work with your team or a copywriter, and we’ll make sure the design leaves room for the real words.
We monitor the site closely after go-live and fix anything that surfaces. From there, most clients move onto a maintenance or improvement retainer so updates, backups and new work are handled continuously.
Share what the site needs to achieve and any deadlines. We’ll come back with questions, a recommended platform and the next steps.
