Cookie policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this website, what each one does and how you can control them. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy. Questions go to info@miranalabs.com.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise the same browser later. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, send information about your visit to another company when a page loads.

Cookies we set ourselves

None for visitors. Browsing the site, reading the blog or sending us a brief does not set any cookie of ours. Our forms work without cookies.

If you log in to the website’s admin area (our team only), WordPress sets the login cookies it needs to keep you signed in. They are strictly necessary and are removed when you log out or they expire.

Advertising cookies: Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited this website. When a page loads, the pixel tells Meta which page you viewed; when you send us a brief, it records that a form was sent (not what you wrote).

Meta handles this data under its own cookie policy and privacy policy.

Other third-party resources

Fonts, icons and script libraries load from content delivery networks (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, unpkg, Simple Icons). These services receive your IP address so they can deliver the files and may keep standard logs. We do not use them to track you.

How to control cookies

  • Ad preferences. Change how Meta uses this data in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Ad preferences.
  • Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most can block third-party trackers such as the Meta Pixel. Blocking them does not stop this website from working.
  • Opt-out tools. In the EU and UK you can use Your Online Choices; in the US and Canada, the Digital Advertising Alliance tools.

Changes

If we add, remove or change a cookie, we will update this page and the date at the top.
