Discovery and scope
Users, roles, data model and a first-version scope, written down and agreed.
Applications
Somewhere in most businesses there is a spreadsheet everyone is afraid to touch, a process that runs through three inboxes, or a product idea that needs a real first version. We build the application that replaces it.
The problem
Web applications, customer portals, internal tools, booking and scheduling systems, SaaS products and the iOS and Android apps that connect to them. We scope the first version small enough to ship, then grow it against what real users do.
Everything anyone has ever wanted goes into the scope. The project takes a year and launches already out of date.
Screens get designed before anyone agrees what a booking, an order or a customer actually is. The rework starts at week six.
No tests, no deployment pipeline, no staging. Every release is a gamble and every bug is a surprise.
A different team builds the app on a different backend. Two things to maintain and they never quite agree.
Our answer
We start with a discovery session that produces three things: a list of the people who will use the product and what each needs to do, a data model everyone agrees on, and a first-version scope that can ship in weeks rather than months.
Design is done for real screens and real states: empty lists, errors, permissions, a phone held in one hand. Build uses mature, well-documented technology (React or Next.js on the front, Laravel or Node.js behind it, React Native for mobile) chosen for the product and the people who will maintain it.
Every project ships with user accounts and roles, a deployment pipeline, automated tests on the parts that matter and monitoring, so releases are routine. After launch, an aftercare period is included and most clients move to a retainer for the roadmap.
What is included
Users, roles, data model and a first-version scope, written down and agreed.
Designed screens for every role and state, as a component system that grows with the product.
Web app, API, database and integrations built on a documented, maintainable stack.
Login, roles, invitations and audit trails appropriate to the product.
Staging and production environments, automated deployment, tests on critical paths.
iOS and Android apps on the same backend, in the Professional package or scoped separately.
How it runs
Workshop with the people who will use it. Users, flows, data, constraints and the smallest useful version.
Clickable prototype of the core flows, tested with a few real users before code.
Working software every one to two weeks, deployed to staging for you to use.
Production deployment, monitoring, aftercare, then a roadmap driven by usage.
ApplicationA hire platform for construction equipment, with a real catalog, real availability and a booking flow, rather than a brochure with a form attached.
