FAQ

Questions,answeredplainly

The things people ask before, during and after a project. If yours is not here, email us and we will answer it directly.

01

Working with us

You send a brief through the contact page or by email. We reply with questions, then either a package recommendation or a scoped fixed price with a date range. No sales call unless you want one.

Yes. Most of our clients are in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United Arab Emirates. We work remotely and schedule calls across those time zones. Prices are in US dollars.

We are a remote studio and do not have a public office. Everything runs over video calls, a shared channel and staging links.

The designer and engineer doing the work. There is no account layer. You get one point of contact and direct access to the people building your product.

Yes. We join existing teams, work inside your repositories and processes, and take on design-only or development-only work.

02

Pricing and payment

Because it saves everyone time. You can see whether we are in range before you write to us, and we can spend the first conversation on the project rather than on guessing a number.

We scope it and quote a fixed price before work starts. The packages exist for common jobs; everything else is priced on the actual work.

Project packages: 50% to start, 50% at launch. Monthly plans: billed at the start of each month, cancel any time. Larger scoped projects are split across milestones.

No. Third-party costs (domains, hosting, platform fees, paid apps) are paid to the provider directly and we list every one before you commit. See the pricing page.

We combine services into one scoped project with one price. Where the combination saves us time, it saves you money; we quote the real figure rather than applying a percentage.

03

Websites and stores

The one that fits who edits the site, what it integrates with and how it needs to grow. WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix, Framer, Drupal, headless or custom. We write the recommendation down with the reasons.

Yes. Every CMS build includes an editing setup, a walkthrough and a short written guide. You manage pages, posts and products without touching code.

We structure content and write headings, interface copy and calls to action. Full page copy is supplied by you or written with a copywriter we work with, quoted separately.

Yes. We map old pages to new, move what is worth keeping, and set up redirects so search rankings carry over.

Speed is part of every build: optimized images, lean code, caching and Core Web Vitals checked before launch. We treat Google's thresholds as the target and test on real phones.

04

Applications and software

A discovery session produces the users, the data model and a first version small enough to ship in weeks. We build in slices with a staging link from the first week.

Mature, well-documented tools: React and Next.js, Laravel and Node.js, React Native for mobile, MySQL or PostgreSQL. Chosen per project for fit and maintainability, never for novelty.

Yes. We review code, hosting, security and dependencies, fix the essentials, and usually move onto a retainer.

You do, once the project is paid for. Repositories, hosting and service accounts are set up in your name.

05

After launch

We watch the first weeks and fix what real visitors surface. Most clients then take a care plan so updates, backups, security and monthly edits are handled.

Yes. We start with a technical review, stabilize the essentials, then run the regular plan.

Yes, at the end of any month. Everything we have done to the site stays yours.

Monitoring alerts us. Response targets depend on the plan; the Professional care plan includes same-day weekday response, and critical incidents are prioritized on every plan.
